Bryan Hansen ’18
My name is Bryan Hansen and I’m a metalsmith and jeweler utilizing the techniques of sandcasting and fabrication to create jewelry with relatively simple form resembling that of a relic lost to time: past or future. I design most of my work to be simple of form so that it shares equal focus with the body of its wearer. Some of my work is more illustrative taking the form of little cherubic bodies that are born from the pages of my sketchbook and act as companions, good luck charms, or creatures of indifference along for the ride. If all of my work could be taken as a charm or hold some greater purpose in the heart of its wearer I would be beyond happy.
