Cat Quattrociocchi ’17 / CATQUAT
From jewelry designed to be worn every day to decorative sculpture for your home, my work likes to be interacted with. I employ various materials in my practice and allow them to guide me in the design process. I began making mobiles as a form of decorative sculpture with the intent that they be used to adorn one’s living space – much like the way in which we adorn our bodies with jewelry. My pieces are playful invitations to use your hands and are made using mine, which means each piece is slightly different and has its own story to tell.
