These beautiful bookmarks are inspired by traditional Chinese jewelry and accessories, as well as the weapons decorations from Chinese history. I fell in love with the work of fellow Asian artisans and crafters who are making jewelry based on themes of our fashion histories, and I thought books deserve jewelry too! My Book Jewelry bookmarks are handcrafted sustainably from the remnants of other book projects, recycled/upcyled bits, and scraps of papers, and help keep waste out of our landfills and oceans.
