In true celebration of my Asian American origins, I paired two of my favorite textiles–Chinese brocade and American denim–into this unique cover design. I hand-sewed and bound this journal using the French-link style of stitching, which allows the journal to function as a layflat book (no gutters that you can’t draw or write in!).
The endpapers of this 4.5″ x 6″ journal are are made of a beautiful Nepalese lokta paper, and inside are 100 luxurious pages of 70# Fabriano drawing paper for pen and dry media. Inside the back cover of this journal is a pocket for holding notes and business cards and a pencil holder side strap, and an elastic strap around the outside keeps the covers closed when not in use.
Only 1 journal of this design is available for purchase.
