In my paintings, I have been developing a movement style of pushing and pulling through brush strokes, and smalti tesserae, small glass bits that I break with a hammer and hardie, or crush, to create colorful powder to apply in my compositions. It is a constant search for interplay with the space to create physical and virtual movements that are capable of awakening the senses.
My paintings repeat a feeling about the ocean, or water, or movement with different ranges of emotions. It is an experience for the viewer to contemplate directly, and personally, finding the moment and space to reflect and be present, forgetting any uncertainty.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist will ship the item(s) directly to you via Priority Mail using MECA&D’s USPS account within 3-5 days of purchase. MECA&D does not have any of the Holiday Sale items -- all purchases will be shipped directly from the artists only.
